LoveSnap — Privacy Policy

LoveSnap (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is built around a simple promise: your private conversations stay private. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

The short version. LoveSnap does not collect, transmit, sell, or store your personal data. Everything the app does happens entirely on your own device. We have no servers that receive your chats, and we never see them.

What data the app accesses

To create your stats, the app reads a WhatsApp chat export file (.txt or .zip) that you choose and upload from your device. This file may contain message text, names, dates, and emojis from your conversation.

This data is:

Read only on your device, in the app’s temporary memory.
Used only to calculate the statistics shown on screen (message counts, word counts, emoji counts, dates, and similar).
Never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third party.
Never stored permanently by the app. When you close the app or analyze a new file, the previous data is discarded from memory.

What we do NOT do

We do not collect personal information.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
We do not require an account, login, or internet connection to function.
We do not share or sell any data, because we never receive any.

Sharing feature

If you tap “Share”, the app uses your device’s standard share sheet to let you send a summary you have chosen to share. The app does not send anything on its own.

Permissions

The app requests access to a file only at the moment you pick one, through your device’s standard file picker. It does not browse or read other files.

Children

LoveSnap is intended for users aged 13 and older.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new “last updated” date.
